The location was beautiful and peaceful overlooking the green pastures full of sheep. It was definitely the best part of our stay. Members of staff were really friendly and helpful.

Breakfast had plenty of choice and well cooked. The rooms were very nice, spacious and clean. there seemed to be very few staff but they coped well with anything we asked of them.

the food for both breakfast and dinner in the restaurant was outstanding with generous portions. The steak and ale pie and the porridge are worth an extra mention.

We enjoyed 3 breakfasts and 3 dinners. Food was good, portions were huge and the staff did everything possible to meet our requests. Our luggage was carried to and from our room, as my husband was injured… many thanks for that. Staff were personable and cheerful.

The room was amazing nice amd large very clean and tidy amazing location so quite and peaceful the staff were great

Nice secluded location, the bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of parking on the night we stayed there. The food was good and although we never got the chance to sit outside, it looks like the garden would be lovely during the summer months.

The staff and proprietors were excellent, very welcoming and helpful. (Especially lesley), very multi-talented. Will definitely be visiting again.
